ESU (ADUN AWON ORISA)

Esu (ADUN 10 Orisa Series) is a monochromatic contemporary exploration of the foundational Yoruba deity of the crossroads, communication, and divine order. Stripping away the expansive colour palettes traditionally associated with West African sacred imagery, the artwork shifts focus entirely to the raw, structural power of line and form. The intricate ink configurations act as a precise visual translation of oral Ifá liturgical frameworks into a progressive, modern graphic language. Executed cleanly on an A4 paper format as an intentional process layer, this work serves as a primary conceptual anchor for the artist’s upcoming international expansion.
